Spring Break!

Eleanore had her first wild Spring Break! Well, as wild as Colonial Club in Boynton Beach Florida can be!! We went down for a few days to visit Dad, Grandma and Uncle John. The Sloan-Hall's (Susan, Michael, Sloan and Shea) were there from Portland, and Mom, Tara and Dave came too. It was wonderful to have so many family members in one place!

This has been a really long winter, so we really needed a break from the cold of MN for a while. Eleanore loved being outside - whenever she was fussy, all we had to do was take her outside and she would calm down.

A couple highlights of the trip:
Eleanore spending time with Sloan and Shea... Visiting Patrick's college roommate and his family... Going on a sightseeing boat cruise in Del Ray... Patrick and I going deep sea fishing with Dad, Tara, and Dave - they caught Mahi Mahi and we had it for dinner... Mom going for a walk on the beach and falling into the ocean...

Photo above is us at the pool; photo below is Dad enjoying the ride on our deep sea fishing adventure.

Nana's March Visit

Nana (aka Patrick's mom) came to visit this past week. She and Eleanore had a great time reading books and playing on the floor. Eleanore even got to play hooky from daycare three days in a row!
Eleanore is still battling an ear infection so we are on to antibiotic #3, but it doesn't seem to affect her spirits.

Double Digits - 10 months old!

Ten months - what a big girl! Eleanore continues to stand and "cruise" and is standing alone for longer and longer periods of time (I think the record is around 5 full seconds). She can "walk" if she hold onto someone's hands, but she prefers to let go and see how long she can be up before toppling.
The days are getting longer and the weather is getting warmer, so she just may have survived her first Minnesota winter.
