Standing Tall

I can't believe that Eleanore is up on two feet!  It is so funny to see her crawl across a room and pull herself up with such ease.  The ottoman in her bedroom (shown in the photo) and the ottomans in the sunroom are her favorite "pull up" places.  At daycare she also likes to pull up on a bouncy seat and stand there and bounce whatever child is in the seat!

Eight is Great (8 months old)!!!

Eleanore is eight months old!  This has been a month of many firsts.  First tooth, first "scooting", then first crawling, first Christmas, first New Years... the list goes on!

She is talking up a storm and Patrick is doing his best to be sure her first real word is "Dada"!

Happy New Year 2009!!

Patrick and I celebrated the arrival of 2009 by going out to a nice dinner - just the two of us!  New Years is a special time for us since we met on New Years eve.  Tara, Jen and Mom did a great job babysitting Eleanore.

The photo above is a Tarry family portrait on New Years Eve.  The photo below is 10 seconds after midnight (I was trying to set the timer to go off right at midnight, but I didn't hit the button hard enough!).  Yes, Eleanore was awake at midnight.  She wanted to be part of the party!
